Q & A with Scott

What was your previous career?

As a teenager, I worked at Peony Park and ran "The Scrambler". Otherwise, I've been a painter and worked with my previous employer for many years. I because a painter because my Dad was one.

What do you enjoy most about working in the trades?

My favorite thing is when the homeowner says, "Wow, this looks great!". To make people happy and see a smile on their faces is a great feeling.

What do you do when you're not working?

Besides art, I enjoy fishing for largemouth bass. I love all sports, especially football, ice hockey, track and field. I'm a big fan of the Olympics. I enjoy mowing my lawn and spending time with my pup, Chewbacca. My wife and I have one daughter and we enjoy spending time together.

What skills do you bring to the table?

I am an abstract artist. I've completed around 550 paintings, probably 40 or so of museum quality. I also enjoy mixed media sculpting.

What do you enjoy most about working for Streamline?

The people are so nice. This group makes it easy to come to work and do a good job on every project.

What advice do you have for someone who's interested in working in the construction industry?

This industry will always need people who take pride in their work.
